Wow. What a night.
On August 1st of this year, for one evening, my work took over the entire Brothership Gallery. It took weeks to prepare the work and organise it all, but I loved every second of it. We even had some t shirts made for the event featuring one of my more macabre drawings.
This might not seem like the biggest deal in the world but to me it was huge. This was my first exhibition since going solo as an artist and illustrator, so all the support and kind words really made a difference to me.
All the hard work paid off. The night was amazing, there was a great turn out and everyone enjoyed the homemade cakes and strawberry gin!
Huge thanks to Emma of Cherry Pie Makes for the set dressing, Sarah from Purple Kite Photography for the photos, Kate of Daffodils and Rhubarb Vintage for the props, my fellow Brothership Artists and everyone who helped out and showed up! I could not have pulled this off without you all.
I hope this is just the first of many more exhibitions to come!
